Levi is four months old!

Oh my my....here we are again.  My sweet boy has officially turned four months old as of last Friday, the 27th.  He's getting so big and so much more active.  He is no longer to just lay and play or sit in my lap for quite a while satisfied to just sit and look around.  He wants to move, be entertained, etc.  It has been so very fun.....and a bit more exhausting.  I can tell it is only going to get more crazy so I better gear up and get ready.  My docile infant is turning into an active baby.  I don't have his four month stats yet....we are up for our appt tomorrow.  This month has really been a fun month, a month of small but oh so fun changes to a mom.  Here are a few things that went on and the update on what's going on with Levi:

My mom came to visit at the beginning of July.  It was so fun to have her here!  She is such a great Momo to Levi and friend to me.

This was the only shot we got of us.

This was the first time in a while we had our new little family picture taken.  Thanks mom!

Levi is still a very happy baby for the most part.  I am amazed at how happy he seems just about all the time.  Such a sweety!

He also really enjoys being on his tummy to play.....NOT sleep!  He really arches his back now, holding his head as high as he can.  Just within the past day or so he's started sticking his hiney up in the air with his knees underneath.  I have a feeling he may be an early crawler.

Levi moved from sitting in the car seat attachment on the stroller to the regular seat.  So cute.....I think he looks so tiny in there.  Ha!  Probably because the stroller is rather large!

This is where Keller stays most of the time, or so it seems.  Almost every time I want to take a picture, swaddle Levi up, lay him on the ground.....Keller is right there, if not on top.  Yes, I said on top.  Today Keller sat right on Levi.  The look on Levi's face was priceless.....shock/amusement.  Keller's tail was right in Levi's face, so he just latched on.  Ha!  I thought, "Grab the camera or yell at Keller to move?"  I chose the latter I think out of impulse.  Too funny!  But, Keller has been great with Levi.  Still a bit jealous, but lets Levi pat/hit him since Levi can now do those things.  :D

Getting close to rolling over.  He arches his back and rolls on his side a lot, but not all the way over yet.

And he loves to suck/chew those fingers still.....a lot!

Helping me with laundry.

He has officially discovered his hands.  So fun to see him stair at them so intently....and then proceed to stuff them in his mouth.

He is still in a size 2 diaper.  I'm debating whether I should try a size 3 or not.  His blow outs slowed down for a while and now have picked up again.  He blows out 1-2 a day!  I used to be able to hear when he'd poop so I could quickly hold him up and pull up his onezie so it wouldn't get dirty.  Now it is silent poo.  I go to pick him up and it is straight up the back....always.  At least I now know how to get out stains...thanks to helpful mom tips.

He has 2-4 poopy diapers a day usually.

He eats 6-7 times a day....going 6-10 hours at night of solid sleep.  That's right!  Last night he slept from 10-8 solid!  Craziness!  He sleeps about 12 hours every night with one "dream" feed as my sister would say....but he's fully awake and then right back down after nursing and changing.  He usually takes 3-4 naps a day: 8:30, 12:00, and 4:00.  This changes depending on the length of his nap or if we're out and about and he skips a nap.

He sleeps either flat on his back or in his bouncer while being swaddled.....yes swaddled still!  Sometimes he gets his arms out and keeps sleeping.  Other times they start attacking his face and he wakes up.  :(

He loves his paci still...mainly when he sleeps or is grumpy.  Otherwise he is sucking on those fingers.  He has learned to pull his paci out....but not put it back in.  Definitely a problem!  :D  But pretty funny at the same time.

Levi arches his back and pushes up with his feet when he is sick of his bouncer.  It's getting a little scary.  I walked in the other morning and he had scooted almost out of his bouncer....so now he gets strapped in at night.  Ha.

Levi sure loves his daddy!  He got a shoulder ride for the first time.

He makes lots of squeals, yells, whines, bubbles now.

He is wearing a few 3 month outfits and up to 9 month.

His favorite activities are being talked to/entertained by mom or dad, "standing," sitting with help while he reaches and plays with something, reaching for the toys in his bouncer, reaching for the toys on his activity mat....oh....watching Keller.  He is also magnetically drawn to the TV...or at least it seems that way.  If he even catches a glimpse of it, he will crane his neck to see it.  We have to turn him completely around or the TV off.

Love this baby!
